A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving fund administered by a third party such as a community foundation or financial institution. DAFs allow you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from your DAF account over time to the nonprofits you wish to support.
Contact your DAF sponsor to request a grant distribution to Corporate Accountability Lab (EIN #81-5123686)

If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free distribution (called a Qualified Charitable Distribution, or QCD) from your traditional or Roth IRA to CAL. You can donate up to $100,000 each year without incurring income tax on your withdrawal. The distributions go directly to CAL and are not subject to federal income tax. Your gift may satisfy your IRA’s annual required minimum distribution (RMD), if applicable.
Contact your plan administrator to direct distributions in the amount of your choosing from your traditional or Roth IRA to Corporate Accountability Lab (EIN #81-5123686). This can be a one-time or recurring gift.
Corporate Accountability Lab is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your donation is tax deductible.
CAL does not accept funding from corporations. We do accept matching funds related to individual donations.
