Panel Series: The Future of Open Source

On October 12th-15th, 2021, CAL and the UCLA Institute for Technology, Law & Policy hosted a series of three panels to explore the drive towards accountability in the tech sector. CAL’s Executive Director Charity Ryerson moderated a panel on October 12th introducing the open-source movement, and Staff Attorney Sameeul Haque discussed the benefits and challenges of implementing ethical standards promoting human rights in open source licenses on October 14th.
