INVESTIGATIONS & ADVOCACY

Through on-site investigations, CAL gathers key information on human rights violations and environmental harm perpetrated by corporations around the globe. Through fact-finding missions, trauma-informed interviews, community partnerships, and staff expertise on the International Labor Organization's indicators of forced labor, CAL thoroughly investigates allegations of forced labor, hazardous child labor, environmental harm, corporation-driven climate change, gender-based and sexual violence, and corruption.

These investigations have a myriad of outcomes: published reports, petitions and filings to various government agencies, and litigation.
